Global Contacts

Overview

The Global Contacts screen in CAS 360 is a global database listing all contacts that have been added to CAS 360 and migrated from CAS Desktop.

You can add the following contacts to CAS 360:

  • Individual
  • Company
  • Joint Member
  • Other Entity

Navigation

From the Main Toolbar, go to Contacts mceclip0.png
Select Global Contacts mceclip1.png

Add a Contact

Select mceclip2.png to add in a new contact to CAS 360.

When a contact is created, the contact types are represented by the following icons:

Individual Company Joint Member Other Entity Partnership Self Managed Super Fund Trust

Filter Global Contacts

Use the Search box to locate a contact

The Find Matches tool consolidates duplicate contacts.

Delete a Contact

To delete a contact from Global Contacts:

Click  mceclip10.png beside the contact and select Delete

Deleting Unused Contacts in Bulk

If a contact is not connected to a company or trust, the contact will appear under the Not in Use filter.

At the top of the screen, select the Delete all not in use Contacts button.

In the confirmation pop-up, you have a toggle to keep any contacts that have BGLiD info. Then click delete not in use contacts.

Edit Contact Details

To edit a contact from Global Contacts:

1. Locate the contact you wish to edit and click on their name:

2. If you wish to add information for the contact, select mceclip14.png
From here, you are able to add information from an array of information types.

3. To edit existing information, select the information item via its hyperlink or by selecting options:

Once updated, click mceclip17.png  to accept the change.

Tabbed View and Compact View

When viewing a contact, there are two different methods of display the contacts information, Tabbed view and Compact View. The view can be changed by selecting one of the options in the top right of the screen.
Tabbed View groups a contact's info into the following tabs:

  • Personal Info
  • Contact Details
  • Identification 
  • Licences and Legal
  • Other Info

Compact View displays all contact info in one screen.

Relationships

The Relationship Tab will allow users to easily identify where a contact is being used across CAS360

This screen will show everything that the contact has been linked to. If the contact has an officeholding, shareholding or any other relationships with other companies.

If the contact is a representative of a company it will also display in the Relationship Tab. 

To quickly access the companies or trusts, select the name of the company or trust under a relationship type.
