Improvements

• Security Update
  Updated the Spring Security framework to address a published vulnerability (CVE-2026-22732). There is no change to how you use CAS 360.

Errors Corrected

• BGLiD - When a BGLiD verification was requested for one ID source, the GovID results on the Contacts screen could also show a second, non-matched source. The results now show only the source submitted for the check.
• Contact Consolidation - When consolidating duplicate contacts, choosing Keep on the contact without sanctions-check details (while the duplicate had them) returned a 500 error, and the consolidation failed. Consolidation now completes, and the duplicate’s sanctions-check details are merged into the kept contact.

Improvements

• Surcharge Wording Removed for AU Transactions – From 1 October 2026, card surcharges no longer apply to AU transactions following the Reserve Bank of Australia reforms, and invoicing already reflects this. CAS 360 previously still referred to a surcharge; that wording has now been removed.
  • BGLiD pricing – The surcharge note has been removed from the pricing modal for AU firms.
  • Buy Constitution – The surcharge note has been removed from the purchase modal, and LightYear Docs and Smarter SMSF constitution prices are now shown without the surcharge, matching what is invoiced.
  • International transactions are unchanged, e.g. Search Registers and BGLiD for SG, NZ and UK.
• Updated Constitution Templates – The LightYear Docs company and SMSF constitution templates and the Smarter SMSF constitution templates have been updated with new versions from the providers.

Errors Corrected

• Annual Return Emails - Year Merge Field Left Blank 

  The ${AnnualReturnYear} merge field did not populate in the Annual Return and Digital Signing Annual Return email templates, including the master template, even when the annual return due date and financial year-end were entered. It now populates correctly.

• CS01 - Duplicate Balance Row After a Share Transfer 

  When a shareholder transferring shares out had previously received shares by transfer and still held a balance, the CS01 PDF (Section D1) and the XML lodgement showed a separate balance row in addition to the transfer-out row. Only the transfer-out record now appears.

• Members Minutes/Resolution - ROA Paragraph Included When ROA Was Not Changing 

  The Registered Office Address paragraph appeared in the Members Minutes/Resolution for UK company changes, such as officer changes, even when the ROA change was toggled off. This affected both standard and Multiple Company Changes. The paragraph now appears only when an ROA change is included.

• Company Import - Corporate Directors Appointed on the Same Day 

  When an imported UK company had multiple corporate directors appointed on the same day, only one of them was imported. Each is now imported as a separate director.
