Overview

With the UK changes effective 18th November 2025, CAS 360 now provides a way to record whether an individual’s name matches the verified Companies House name.

If the name does not match, you can select a reason from a predefined list. This information is saved against the contact and can be easily used in future forms.

Accessing the Companies House Personal Code

From the Main Toolbar, go to Contacts
Select Global Contacts

1. Select the individual whose information you want to verify.

2. Click Information +.

3. Select Identification Numbers.

4. Choose ID Type: Companies House Personal Code.

How It Works

Name Match Toggle

A new Yes/No toggle has been added to the Companies House Personal Code field in the contacts screen:

• Question: Does the name match the verified Companies House Name?

• Default: Yes

Reason Dropdown

If the toggle is set to No, a dropdown appears to select one reason for the mismatch. The options are:

1. Legally changed name

2. Preferred name

3. Translation or a different naming convention

4. Prefer not to say

5. Error on the public register

Note: Only one reason can be selected at a time.
