Overview

This screen allows users to enter current and previous shareholders.

Shareholders are the owners of a company, through the purchase of shares. As owners of the company, shareholders are entitled to certain rights. Every company incorporated in the United Kingdom must have at least one shareholder.

This screen also breaks down each shareholding by share class, so CAS 360 users are easily able to see the differences between share classes.

Navigation 

From the Main Toolbar, go to Company
Select the Company from the list
Select Members

Details

To add a Member, click 

CAS 360 is able to produce forms for a number of Shareholder changes such as:

• Allotments
• Subscriptions
• Shareholders’ Balances
• Share Transfers
• Cancellations
• Redemptions
• Change to Beneficial Ownership
• Changes to Amounts Paid
• Subdivisions
• Consolidation
• Conversions
• Return of Capital
• Share Buy Backs
• Share Redenomination

To remove any transactions created, click   and select Delete

To prepare a Dividend, click

Shareholder Filters

The Current Shareholder Filter allows Shareholders to be sorted by Current Shareholders. Selecting this option allows the users to toggle between the current shareholder transactions view and Current Shareholders View. If the 'View current shareholder' toggle is favourited by clicking the star, then it will be turned on by default when opening the shareholders screen.

The Shareholder Filters section also contains Doughnut Graphs that reflect the number of shares held between different shareholders and a comparison of the different share types issued by the company.

Hovering over the Shareholders graph will display the number of shares the shareholder holds of that share type.

The Group by Amount paid function allows users to switch between transaction grouping options in the Shareholders screen.

• Toggle on to group each share class by amounts paid and unpaid.
• Toggle off to group by general share class.

Use the Search box to look up a specific shareholder:

The search can be used to search for any data in the Shareholders screen including:

• Date
• Transaction-type
• Number of shares
• Certificate number
• Beneficial owner

Users can also sort the shareholder screen by each column heading. Simply click on a column heading with the following symbol

Shareholder Details

Under the Name column, hover your cursor over the information icon . Users will be able to instantly see the shareholder's:

• Name
• Address
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Email
• Mobile Number

To edit any of these details, select

Certificate Number

CAS 360 will display the Share Certificate number in the Shareholders screen

To change the certificate number, beside the shareholder, click  and select Edit
