Adding a Companies House Personal Code to a Contact

From October 2025, Companies House will require all UK Directors and Persons with Significant Control (PSC) to have a Companies House Personal Code. This 11-character alphanumeric code will be used as part of Companies House identity validation.

CAS 360 allows you to store this code securely against your contacts.

Add a Personal Code to a Contact

From the Main Toolbar, go to Contactsmceclip0.png
Select Global Contactsmceclip1.png

  1. Search for and select the contact you want to update.

  2. Click Information +

  3. Select Identification Numbers.

  4. In the Add ID pop-up:

    • ID Type: Select Companies House Personal Code.

    • ID Number: Enter the 11-character alphanumeric code.

    • Issue Date: Enter the issue date in dd/mm/yyyy format.

  5. Selecting "No" for the question "Does name match verified Companies House Name?" allows you to select a specific reason why the names do not match:

  6. Once all details are correct, click Save.
